Workout, July 11 & 12.
Yesterday we had a 7 mile run and I felt like crap the whole time.
Today we did a workout & had a 2.5 mile warm-up, six 200 meter hill sprints, half a mile jog, and then 4 more hill sprints, faster and shorter. Felt pretty good today but my hips still hurt super bad.
I have a huge blister on my toe, also.
workout, July 10.
1 mile warm-up
3 mile tempo run, 1 minute recovery after every mile.
1 mile cool-down
5 miles, not too bad. Didn’t feel too terrible, kept in the front of the group the whole time. I think i’m gonna move up a group tomorrow.
I think the only reason why i’m doing so well on workouts/runs lately even before practice is how frickin’ excited I am to see my times improve. I’m so motivated to do well… I will work hard every single day of practice to get what I want.
I’m not giving up.
I’m actually really excited for my cross country practice to start on Monday. :)
I just feel so pumped to train really hard this season.
Hopefully that feeling stays!
